Zang, Vadim

Vadim Zanginian (Zang) was born in Armenia in 1965 and attended the Art and Theatre Institute from 1984 to 1989.  He is classically trained as an artist and as a classical pianist.

 In 1991, after winning a major design competition in Armenia, he moved to Los Angeles and finished his master’s degree. From 1994 to 2003 he worked as a graphic designer, creating graphics for many celebrities including Cher, Paul McCartney and The Moody Blues. He has also designed for Guess, Harley Davidson and the Hard Rock Café.

Recently, Zang has developed a quick learning program to teach figurative painting and drawing.  Currently he teaches at The Academy of Figurative Art in Los Angeles.
